Michaela M. Barry Michaela Barry works as a consulting and contract attorney in the fields of technology licensing, technology contracts, domain name disputes and mediation, Internet copyright issues, trademark applications, prosecution and appeals, legal research, commercial real estate leasing, employee procedures and technology use policies, privacy issues, and general technology management consulting. She is also president of the non-for-profit organization The Domain Name Rights Coalition, which protects consumer and small business interests in domain name, privacy, and speech issues. She has also worked for InterCon Systems Corporation and Learning Tree Software. Ms. Barry has been involved with Internet and high technology issues since 1982, and has had significant impact in formulating worldwide technology laws and policies through participation as a Steering Committee member of the IFWP (International Forum for the White Paper), the precursor to the formation of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), and through testimony to House and Senate committees in the US.
